Sierra de Tejeda Oil
Sierra de Tejeda Oil is an EVOO produced and marketed by Agrícola del Campo San Isidro Labrador, a small cooperative society located in the Malaga municipality of Canillas de Aceituno and intended for the collection of olives and the production of olive oil for subsequent marketing. An Extra Virgin Olive Oil made with olives of the verdial and nevadilla variety and whose properties and characteristics give it a very distinctive flavor and aroma.
Origins
In its beginnings, back in the fifties of the last 20th century, the Agricultural Cooperative of Campo San Isidro Labrador was a mill owned by a local resident, who had sufficient economic power and decided to invest in the creation of an oil mill. In 1957, said owner decided to sell his oil mill and it was then that a group of farmers and ranchers set out to acquire it and found what is now the Canillas de Aceituno cooperative . At the time of its incorporation, the company had 32 partners, a number that has grown over time.
Its Sierra Tejeda oil is mainly sold in small stores in the town and nearby towns, although in recent years it has made an international leap thanks to a distribution platform.
An exceptional EVOO that takes care of each process to offer the highest quality.
