Lagar del Chorro is a small family company specialized in the cultivation, colection and extraction of extra virgin olive oil coming from a homonymous farmhouse located in the heart of Alora, a unique enclave, extensively sunny and warm, watered by the Guadalhorce river.
Every year, Lagar del Chorro harvests selective crop of olives of the alberquina and hojiblanca varieties to traditionally its most precious gourmet extra virgin olive oil.
The farmhouse Lagar del Chorro has an area of 28 hectares and it stands as serene oasis in the middle of the valley. With panoramic views that embrace the essence of the region, its olive trees, rural houses, and fruit trees make up a dream landscape. The abundant flow of water extracted directly from the underground nourishes its plantations and guarantees the exceptional quality of its EVOO.
From the intense fruitiness and green almond notes of its arbequina to the balance between bitterness and sweetness of its hojiblanca, each bottle is a tribute to the art of EVOO production. A tasting journey through unique nuances and a perfect combination with a wide variety of dishes, from fresh salads to baked fish and elaborated pasta dishes.
