Cuesta La Viña Winery
Cuesta La Viña is a winery dedicated to the production and aging of natural wines, with the Sierras de Málaga designation of Origin and registered in the Serranía de Ronda sub-zone and whose objective is to obtain high quality wines.
Located next to the Grazalema Natural Park , the beginnings of Cuesta la Viña date back to 2003, when its owners, with a wide and extensive experience of more than 20 years as Engineers dedicated to Agri-Food Engineering, entered the wine world to achieve a distinctive flavor and bouquet in each of its wines. Unique qualities derived from the grape varieties in the area.
The planting of Bodega Cuesta La Viña begins with the Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot and Cab varieties. Sauvignon, later expanding its vineyard with Pinor Noir and Graciano.
Some unquestionably elegant wines that are marketed under the Jorge Bonet and Kataviña brands and that offer us white, rosé and sweet wines, in addition to their renowned red wines, which due to the type of production, are wines of great structure and minerality that reflect their own “terroir”.
Likewise, Bodega Cuesta la Viña allows us to enjoy a unique experience combining viticulture, oenology and nature. With this objective in mind, guided tours are offered through the
vineyards and winery, with a didactic and introductory approach to viticulture, including:
Visit to the vineyard, where the principles of viticulture are explained on the spot.
Tour of the Winery, with a description of the entire winemaking process.
Tasting of the winery's wines, with a description of their particularities.
